How To Apply Makeup On Oily Skin

Oily skin is hard to treat especially in summer. If you apply the wrong make up on your oily skin, then the entire make up can result in unattractive skin. Applying wrong makeup on oily skin can also make it look more oilier than it before. Here are the simple ideas to treat the oily skin.

1. Avoid Oily Food

          The first and foremost step starts from your food routine. Taking oily food item make your skin oilier.Avoid oily food item and drink enough water so that your skin will be young and fresh

2. Cleansing Toning Moisturizing

                 It is important to start a cleansing, toning, moisturizing routine.  It is the most important thing you must do in order to prevent from oily skin. Use a good cleanser and toner that treats your skin gently and reduce oiliness. cleanse your skin and follow with toner and oil free moisturizer wait for some time before you apply makeup.

3. Use Primer

               Before applying foundation and eyeshadow you must use primer. Primer helps the makeup to stay longer. At least apply primer on oilier areas such as forehead, chin, nose. Use oil free primer.

4. Go with Powder

           Don't apply too much foundation on your skin. Go with less foundation. It is important to choose the right foundation for you(tell you in my next post).Powder the friend of oily skin. Powder helps to set your makeup. But don't overdo with powder. Overdo Powder can pull out more oil in your pores.

5. Carry Blotting Paper

            The most helpful tip for oily skin is prepare for the oiliness. There are times that you need to touch up your makeup. Easy tip is to carry some blotting paper. Just press the paper on oily areas and take off. Don't rub your skin with blotting paper. 

       Wash your face at least thrice a day.
       Don't eat oily food.
       Go for oil free makeup tools.
       Remove the all makeup before going to sleep by using cleansing routine.
       Try to use less foundation and use water based or powder or mineral  foundation.
       Use blotting sheets that help to keep your skin fresh all the day.
       Never use any type of shimmer on your skin. It can make your skin look greasy.
